Women’s Lacrosse to Continue Home Slate Against Pitt


UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's lacrosse is set to continue their four-game home slate against Pitt Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. at Panzer Stadium.

Parking
GAMEDAY PARKING LOCATIONS
• Stadium West, Jordan East, Porter North
• Parking available beginning two hours before each game
* TAILGATING IS NOT PERMITTED IN CAMPUS PARKING LOTS. All drive lanes must be open to two-way traffic. Setting up chairs, tents, etc. in parking spaces is prohibited. University Policy AD18 prohibits the use of alcohol on campus.

PARKING PAYMENT INFORMATION
• No charge with a valid Penn State parking permit
Prepaid parking
• Day-of event payment also available for $10 by using in-lot pay stations or the ParkMobile app (zone no. 95112 beginning two hours before the event)
• On days when lacrosse overlaps with a men's basketball, women's basketball, or men's hockey game, ParkMobile prepayment and zone parking and pay station parking for lacrosse will end two hours before those events, and cash only payment ($10) will be collected at the lots by attendants for those without a valid permit or prepayment. When lacrosse games overlap with a Bryce Jordan Center concert/show, day-of-event payment may be as high as $30 for those without a permit or prepayment.
• $1 per hour parking also available at the East Deck for most games
 
All vehicles must be parked with the license plate facing the drive aisle located closest to the parking space so that payment can be verified by parking enforcement staff.A valid permit or payment is required in event parking areas 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Vehicles parked without a valid permit or payment may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense. Non-football event parking is managed by Penn State Transportation Services. Nittany Lions vs. Panthers
The Nittany Lions lead the all-time series against the Panthers, 2-0. Penn State won their first meeting in 2022, 15-7. The following season Penn State defeated Pitt, 15-12. In their 2023 matchup, Kristin O'Neill scored her 100th career goal. Kayla Abernathy and Brooke Hoss notched four goals apiece in the win. 
 
Scouting the Panthers
Pitt is currently 1-1 under third year head coach Emily Boissonneault. The Panthers opened their season with a 20-2 victory over Duquesne where they recorded 10 assists, and 11 different Panthers scored a goal. Most recently the Panthers dropped a game at Arizona State, 18-11. 
 
Last Time Out
Penn State lost to Colorado, 10-9 at Friday afternoon. In the loss, senior Gretchen Gilmore recorded her seventh career hat trick. Seven Nittany Lions contributed to the team's scoring efforts.
