UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Penn State women's basketball's Makenna Marisa has been selected to the 2024 College All-Star Game Watch List, comprised of the country's most elite women's college basketball players. The list sees representation from 45 schools and 12 different conferences. The 59-person list will be condensed to just 20 of the nation's top players who will play in the contest on April 6 in Cleveland. 
 
Marisa joins some of the top names in women's college basketball seniors that as one of the athletes considered for the game, to have one final opportunity to represent their program and compete in a high-level game with other WNBA Draft prospects. 
 
The senior+ has had a fifth season full of milestones. Earlier in the year, Marisa surpassed 2,000 career points, something only 333 active division I basketball players have achieved. She helped guide the Lady Lions to their 1,000th program win this season while the team started the campaign with their best record in a decade.
 
Marisa has totaled 2,122 points, 498 assists and has averaged double figure scoring throughout the entire year. After being named to the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Watch List ahead of the season, she picked up two Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll nods. Marisa's name is inked all over the Penn State women's basketball record book, sitting fourth all-time in scoring, second in career 30-point games, fourth in three-pointers and has started and played in the most games of any Lady Lion in school history. She is the only Penn State player to achieve 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists, 225 three-pointers and 175 steals.
