UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's lacrosse had three players named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday.
Kristin O'Neill and Ellie Hollin landed spots on the third team, while Sammy Dupcak was named an honorable mention. The trio was recently named Big Ten Players to Watch.
O'Neill is coming off a 2023 campaign that saw her take first team All-Big Ten honors as well as USA Lacrosse third team All-American. The senior captain started in all 18 games, leading the team with 51 goals and 59 points. O'Neill recorded at least one goal in every game last season. O'Neill was named a USA Lacrosse third team Preseason All-American ahead of the 2024 season.
Hollin had a stellar sophomore season. The defender started in 17 games. She scooped 31 ground balls and forced 27 turnovers. For her performance, she was named first team All-Big Ten and a USA Lacrosse All-American honorable mention.
Dupcak played in all 18 games for the Nittany Lions in 2023. She led the team with 29 turnovers and 20 draw control victories. The defender was named second team All-Big Ten last season.
The Nittany Lions will begin their 2024 slate at Bucknell on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m.
