SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
- Robert Morris is currently 11-17-0 overall, and 8-8-0 in CHA play.
- Leading the team on offense is Alaina Giampietro who has 15 goals and seven nine for 24 points this season.
- In between the pipes is Maggie Hatch who has a GAA of 2.98 and save percentage of .925. She currently holds a record of 7-11-0.
SERIES HISTORY
- This weekend will mark the 41st and 42nd meetings between Penn State and Robert Morris.
- Robert Morris currently leads the all-time series, 23-10-7.
- The Colonials faced the Nittany Lions on December 1-2, which resulted in a pair of wins for Penn State winning 2-0 and 4-1.
DESA RECEIVES FIRST CHA AWARD
- Sophomore goaltender Katie DeSa received her first weekly CHA award as the Goaltender of the Week.
- DeSa's performance versus Mercyhurst won her the award, completing one shutout on Friday and saving 40-of-42 shots on goal throughout the weekend.
- Over her last five starts in the net, DeSa is 5-0 and has made 104 saves for a .945 save percentage this season.
NITTANY LIONS BUMP IN THE POLLS
- Penn State was ranked No. 14 in both the USA Today and USCHO polls.
- The Nittany Lions entered the rankings again last week, coming in at 15th.
JANECKE APPROACHING 100 POINTS
- Sophomore forward Tessa Janecke is just shy of 100 career points, sitting at 93.
- Janecke is currently 10th in the nation in points scored this season with 45.
CHA REGULAR SEASON TITLE IN SIGHT
- The Nittany Lions are only game away from clinching the teams second straight CHA Regular Season title.
- To clinch, Penn State needs to win one game, or have Mercyhurst lose a game.
- The CHA tournament begins on Friday, Feb. 23.
