UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse midfielder Mac Costin was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I Team of the Week as the association announced on Tuesday afternoon. This is Costin's first USILA Team of the Week honor in his career.
The Haverford, Pa. native was one of two Nittany Lions to tally a hat-trick in Penn State's 12-9 victory over Ohio State. He scored a crucial game-tying goal in the closing seconds of the third quarter and a go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter to propel the Nittany Lions to victory. This is Costin's third hat-trick of the season.
On the year, Costin has tallied 16 goals and two assists for 18 points this season in eight games played. He sits four goals away from tying his career-high that he reached in 2022 with 20.
Penn State returns to action on Sunday, March 31 when they host Maryland at 7 p.m.
