Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 35 Michigan

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's tennis team (4-17, 0-6) fell in its match, 4-0, to No. 35 Michigan (13-10, 7-0).
 
The Blue and White will compete against Michigan State on Sunday, April 14 at 1 p.m. This match will honor the seniors. 
 
DOUBLES
 
The Michigan men's tennis team won two doubles matches to take the doubles point. 
 
At No. 3, Miko Eala and Alexander Sterin fell to Mert Oral and Bjorn Swenson, 6-2
 
Stefan Simeunovic and Jack Martuccio dropped their match, 6-3, to Patorn Hanchaikul and Will Cooksey.
 
Nolan Ranger and Ari Cotoulas were up, 5-4, against Gavin Young and Alex Cairo when their match was left unfinished. 
 
SINGLES
 
The Nittany Lions gave up three singles matches to give up the match to No. 35 Michigan. 
 
Ari Cotoulas fell in his match to Will Cooksey, 6-3, 6-2. 
 
No. 102 Miko Eala fell in a tough fought match to No. 17 ranked Gavin Young, 6-2, 6-4.
 
Nolan Ranger gave up his match to Patorn Hanchaikul, 6-1, 6-4.
