UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Josh Karnes and Stephen Nedoroscik will continue their journey to Paris at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Gymnastics Trials in Minneapolis at the Target Center June 27 & 29.
Past and present Nittany Lions will be represented at the trials in current student-athlete Josh Karnes and alumnus Stephen Nedoroscik this week. Karnes is one of five current Big Ten conference student-athletes competing in the Trials.

Karnes finished his junior season earning All-American honors on parallel bars and the all-around. The Erie, Pa. native earned All-Big Ten first team honors in the all-around at the 2024 Big Ten Championships after finishing third in the event.
Karnes competed at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships nearly a month ago. He qualified for the trials after posting a combined score of 157.450 and landing a spot on the U.S. Senior Development team.
Nedoroscik won his fourth pommel horse national title at the championships after earning a cumulative score of 30.000 to earn a spot on the U.S. Senior National Team.
Team USA is expected to send 10 total athletes (five men and five women) to compete in artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Olympic Games. Men's gymnastics kicks off July 27 and runs through August 5. The full Team USA roster for the Olympic Games will be confirmed in July.
