UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Athletics will host its second-annual Nittany Lion Fan Academy on Friday, September 6. The event will take place at Medlar Field beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fans can enter the stadium starting at 5:45 p.m.
All fans – kids, adults, students – are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event is completely free and will be a chance for fans to get game day ready. Fans will learn traditions, chants, cheers and songs that they will hear in Beaver Stadium and at all Penn State sporting events during the 2024-25 athletic year.
The Blue Band, Nittany Lion mascot, cheerleaders and Lionettes will be on hand to teach fans the game day traditions and introduce new entertainment fans can expect at contests this season. Free t-shirts will be available for the first 5,000 fans, while shakers and posters will be available as well.
