Women's Volleyball Scheduled for 12 TV Matches, Including NBC Matchup at Wisconsin

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Women's Volleyball is set to have at least 12 matches on national television in 2024, as announced by the Big Ten Conference on Monday. The slate includes 10 matches against Big Ten opponents and two non-conference foes.

The Nittany Lions will be featured on Big Ten Network 10 times this season, including their home opener against Louisville on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The other nine Big Ten Network matches are against conference opponents – at Purdue (Sept. 25), Maryland (Oct. 3), Oregon (Oct. 4), at Ohio State (Oct. 18), at UCLA (Oct. 24), at USC (Oct. 26), Michigan (Oct. 30), Purdue (Nov. 21), and Nebraska (Nov. 29).

The match against Louisville is the first non-conference match at Rec Hall to be featured on B1G Network since Penn State hosted Stanford in 2019. It is one of two TV matches during the Nittany Lions’ non-conference schedule. Their contest against Duke on Friday, Sept. 13, will air on FS1.

A matchup of Big Ten powers will air on NBC when Penn State and Wisconsin square off in Madison on Saturday, Nov. 9. This marks the first season that collegiate women’s volleyball will be featured on NBC.

A record 83 Big Ten matches are scheduled to air on national television this season, including 68 on Big Ten Network. All non-televised Big Ten Conference volleyball matches are scheduled to appear on B1G+, a subscription service for non-televised live events.
