UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women’s lacrosse and Head Coach Missy Doherty announced the 2024 Fall Ball Schedule on Tuesday. The schedule features six games set throughout September and October.
The Nittany Lions are coming off the program’s third Big Ten Championship appearance and 27th NCAA tournament appearance in the spring. Penn State enters the fall with 24 returners and 13 newcomers in addition to two new assistant coaches, Steph Lazo and Sarah Willard.
Penn State will kick off their fall slate at Virginia on Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m. The Cavaliers made it to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament before falling to Florida.
Two weeks later the Nittany Lions will face No. 3 Syracuse on Oct. 12 at 3:30 p.m. The Orange made it to the Final Four but dropped the game to eventual National Champions Boston College.
On Oct. 19, Penn State will host their Play Day. Drexel, Cornell and Pittsburgh will play at Panzer Stadium in a variety of match ups.

Game 2: Drexel vs. Pitt, 11:00 a.m.
Game 3: Penn State vs. Cornell, 12:00 p.m.
Game 4: Drexel vs. Cornell, 1:00 p.m.
Game 5: Penn State vs. Pitt, 2:00 p.m.
Game 6: Pitt vs. Cornell, 3:00 p.m.
