LOUDON, Tenn. – The Penn State men’s golf team opens up the 2024-25 season this weekend when the Nittany Lions head to the Visit Knoxville Collegiate Friday through Sunday.
The Tennessee National Golf Club plays as a par-70, 7,280-yard course. Teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The 16-team field includes host Tennessee, Charleston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, East Tennessee State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Florida, Penn State, South Carolina, South Florida, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.
Penn State will be represented by Jake Griffin, Alex Creamean, Will Preston, Jud Langille and Zach Smith. Griffin, Langille and Smith are all returning players from a season ago, while transfer Creamean and freshman Preston will make their debuts in the Blue & White.
