Men's Lacrosse Ranked Fourth in USA Lacrosse Preseason Poll

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's lacrosse team picked up their first ranking of the 2024 season, landing at No. 4 in the USA Lacrosse Preseason Top 20 Poll, announced Wednesday. 

The Nittany Lions sit among the top of the of the other Big Ten programs in the poll with Maryland (No. 5), Johns Hopkins (No. 6), Michigan (No. 13), and Rutgers (No. 15) as the other Big Ten programs to earn a preseason recognition. 
 
Last season the team finished 11-5 which included their second trip to the NCAA lacrosse semifinals. The Nittany Lions also secured their second Big Ten Regular Season title.  
 
Penn State kicks off the 2024 season at home against Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 3. Game-time is set for noon.
