UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's lacrosse team picked up their first ranking of the 2024 campaign, landing at No. 14 in the USA Lacrosse Preseason Top 20 Poll, announced Wednesday.
The Nittany Lions join Northwestern (No. 1), Maryland (No. 6), Michigan (No. 17), as one of four Big Ten programs to earn the preseason recognition.
Last season the team finished 11-7 which included their 12-7 upset victory over Maryland. The Nittany Lions also earned a bid to the NCAA tournament in 2023.
