GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Penn State men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season Monday and Tuesday at the Qubein Cup hosted by High Point at Sedgefield Country Club.
The Nittany Lions finished 12th in the 13-team field at 73-over, 913.
Jake Griffin was Penn State’s highest finisher, coming in at tied for 28th at 12-over, 222 (75-73-74).
Robby O’Regan finished 65th at 23-over, 233 (77-77-79). Alex Creamean shot a 26-over, 236 (80-80-76) and placed 73rd. Morgan Lofland placed 75th at 28-over, 238 (88-77-73). Andres Barraza was a scratch for the second round, but shot a 78 and 73 in the first and third rounds, respectively.
Zach Smith played as an individual and was a scratch for the final round, but fired a 71 and 75 in the first two rounds.
The Nittany Lions will return to action in early 2025 for the spring season. The spring schedule will be announced in the coming months.
