SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Due to inclement weather in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, including snowfall and freezing rain through the afternoon hours, 10th-seeded and 22nd-ranked Penn State women’s soccer’s Big Ten Tournament first round match against seventh-seeded Minnesota has been delayed to Friday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. (ET) from Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium on the campus on the University of Minnesota.
The winner of Friday’s rescheduled match will square off against second-seeded and ninth-ranked UCLA in a modified quarterfinal start date and time. Penn State and Minnesota’s prospective quarterfinal match against the Bruins is now scheduled for Monday, November 4, with kickoff slated for 4 p.m. (ET) from Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. Winners of all four quarterfinal contests in the state of Minnesota will go on to play in the semifinals of the 2024 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament from CITYPARK in St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday, November 7, followed by the league’s championship match on Sunday, November 10.
