UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s lacrosse team announces its 2025 competition schedule, including eight home meets at Panzer Stadium, and seven contests against opponents who finished the 2024 season ranked in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll.
The Nittany Lions will kick off the season with a pair of home games, first against Richmond on Saturday, February 8, at 1 p.m. and then Bucknell on Wednesday, February 12 at 4 p.m.
PSU next hits the road for two away battles against instate foes. The Nittany Lions will travel to Saint Joseph’s on Saturday, February 15 and Pittsburgh on Tuesday, February 18.
Drexel comes to town in the Nittany Lions return to Panzer on Wednesday, February 26 for a 4 p.m. draw, followed by another home match up against Cornell on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. Penn State wraps up the non-conference campaign with a road test against Princeton on Wednesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
The Blue and White open the Big Ten slate with Maryland at home on Thursday, March 13 before taking on Northwestern, Oregon, and Michigan all on the road. The games are scheduled for Sunday, March 16, Sunday, March 23, and Sunday, March 30, respectively.
The Nittany Lions play host to Rutgers on Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. to launch a three-game homestand. Ohio State follows on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m., and Southern California rounds out the regular season home stretch for Penn State on Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
The regular season concludes in Baltimore, Maryland, when PSU faces Johns Hopkins at 7 p.m.
The 2025 Big Ten Tournament will be hosted by Maryland at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex in College Park, Maryland. The No. 1-overall seed will receive a first-round bye, while the other teams will compete in quarterfinals matchups.
The 2025 NCAA DI Women’s Lacrosse Tournament begins on Friday, May 9 where teams will compete at seeded sites. The quarterfinals commence on Thursday, May 15, still hosted at seed sites. The semifinals and championship will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Friday, May 23, and Sunday, May 25, respectively.
