ROSEMONT, Ill. - Penn State men's lacrosse sophomore Alex Ross was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. This is his first Big Ten weekly honor in his career.
Ross recorded two caused turnovers against Navy in Saturday's 13-3 victory over the Midshipmen. He also scooped three ground balls in the victory. On the season, Ross has scooped eight ground balls while forcing five turnovers.
Penn State returns to action on Saturday, March 2 when they host No. 9/10 Yale at Panzer Stadium at noon.
