UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The 2024 Penn State student football season ticket sale will see a process change in an effort to offer an equal opportunity for all eligible students to access tickets.
This year's student sale will become a lottery process, with all eligibility requirements remaining the same as previous years. The lottery system will allow students more time to request a season ticket. Previously, students had one day to purchase a ticket with tickets typically selling out in less than 30 minutes each day. Students will now have a week to make their ticket request. In reviewing the student ticket sale process and developing the new system, Athletics considered feedback from students, parents and families.
With the new process implemented this year, the student sale, originally run through Ticketmaster.com, will now shift to Penn State Student Account Manager and become a ticket request system. Moving the process to Student Account Manager will allow students to request and manage their tickets all in one place.
Ticket requests will open in class order and begin on Monday, June 10 and run through Friday, June 21. Graduate students open the ticket request process on June 10, and it will continue through the end of the freshmen ticket requests on June 21. Students will be notified the week of June 24 via email if their request was selected or not in the lottery process.
To submit a request, students will put a credit card on file and will only be charged if their request is selected during the lottery process. If their request is not selected, their card will not be charged. Students can make their season ticket request at any time during their class request window and the timing of when the request is made will not impact their chances of obtaining a student season ticket. The lottery selection process is completely randomized.
The cost of the seven-game home season ticket package is $246.
