Lobdell led the Penn State defense with three assists in this week's series against RIT. She tallied two assists in Saturday's 3-2 victory over RIT and one assist in Friday's 3-0 win. Lobdell's two-point outing was her fifth multi-point game of the year. Lobdell needs just one more point to become the all-time points leader among defensemen at Penn State. Currently, she and Izzy Heminger share the lead with 80 points. On the year, Lobdell sits ninth in the nation among defensemen in points with 17 on two goals and 15 assists. The weekly award is Lobdell’s fourth this season and eighth of her career.

Stonehouse tallied a two-point week on two goals against the Tigers. She potted a goal in each game of the series, which included a game-winning goal in the Nittany Lions 3-0 shutout win on Friday. The Blenheim, Ontario native, is currently on a four-game goal and point streak as she has six goals and one assist in her first season as a Nittany Lion. She sits tied for fifth in the nation in goals among rookies. This is Stonehouse’s first weekly honor of her career.

Penn State returns to action on Friday, January 17 when they travel to face Syracuse. The puck drops at 6 p.m.
