UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – No. 14 Penn State men’s track & field’s Ajani Dwyer earned his third Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week award of the 2024-25 season, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Dwyer ran his fifth sub-6.6 60-meter dash at Penn State’s Sykes & Sabock Challenge on Saturday, winning the final in 6.59. The Sewell, N.J. native is the nation’s top freshman in both the 60 and 200-meter dash events and has helped Penn State’s men’s team to a No. 14 national ranking in the most recent USTFCCCA TFRI ranking.
The Nittany Lion newcomer earns his third conference weekly award of the 2024-25 season and continues to pile up accolades as one of the top sprinters in the country.
