UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After two consecutive home indoor meets, the Penn State track & field teams are back on the road Friday, Feb. 14. The Nittany Lions will compete in a pair of two-day meets, as a majority of sprinters and field event athletes will travel to South Carolina for the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite while the distance crew heads north to the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston.
In the most recent USTFCCCA TFRI rankings, the men’s team comes in at No. 14 while the women are 35th.

Day one of the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday. The second day of the meet will be on Saturday, February 15 at 9 a.m. Both days of the meet will be streamed live on ACCNx.

Penn State donned its classic Pink & Black uniforms in the Sykes & Sabock Challenge last Saturday at home as Senior Day was celebrated.
Darius Smallwood continues to rank atop the Big Ten in the men’s 600-meter as Penn State begins to gear up for an indoor postseason push. Last weekend, Smallwood increased his NCAA-leading PR in the 600-meter by 0.04, winning the race at a remarkable 1:15.45 time.
In the throws circle, Dylan Lambrecht showed up on Senior Day in the men’s shot put event and posted a career-best throw on his last effort of the day with a 19.13-meter toss. Lambrecht’s mark places him at No. 18 on the 2025 NCAA leaderboard and in fourth on Penn State’s all-time indoor shotput list.
Freshman sensation Ajani Dwyer has yet to lose a race in his first collegiate campaign after he placed first overall in the men’s 60-meter with a time of 6.59 and collected his third Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week honor for his effort.
