Penn State men’s fencing teams Compete at the Miller Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.;– Penn State men’s fencing teams competed Sunday at the Miller Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Penn State vs. Airforce- Penn State's men’s team opened up against Air Force and posted a dominant win in foil (8-1) and epee (8-1) and won a close dual in saber (4-5) winning by a final score of 21-6.

Penn State vs. Norte Dame- In their second dual of the day, the men’s team battled Notre Dame, and dropped the match by a score of 18-9. The team fell in foil (5-4), saber (8-1), and epee (6-3).

Penn State vs. MIT- The team celebrated a hard-earned victory against Brandeis, winning the dual 17-10. Penn State dominated the epee event with an impressive 8-1 win. Tey also had a close win in saber (5-4). However, they experienced a close loss in foil (5-4).

Penn State vs. Boston College- Penn State had another close dual, this time against Boston College and came away victorious a score of 15-12. The team triumphed in foil, winning (5-4) and epee (6-3) but dropped a close dual in saber (5-4)

Penn State vs. Duke – In thee final dual of the day men’s team faced Duke, where it dropped the match by a score of 16-11. The team fell in foil (6-3), saber (5-4), and epee (5-4)

Following this weekend’s action select Penn State Fencers will compete at 2025 Junior Olympics in Charlotte, N.C February 14th –17th
