UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — No. 25 Penn State women’s gymnastics will conclude its regular season with a trip to Clemson for an 8 p.m. dual in Littlejohn Coliseum on Friday, March 14.
Penn State looks to build on its season-best team score from last week as it prepares to conclude its regular season on the road in South Carolina. The Nittany Lions received 12 career-high performances at the George Washington tri-meet as newcomers and veterans alike put together a phenomenal team performance that suggests a peak in performance with the postseason approaching.

LAST TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions put up a season-best 196.675 team score at George Washington on Sunday in a tri-meet that also included Clemson.
Freshman Elizabeth Leary put together a career-best 39.325 all-around total in the meet, earning herself Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors. Penn State had three 9.9-plus scores in the meet, including two on vault.
VAULT – No. 30
Career-high totals from Maddie Johnston (9.925) and Isabella Salcedo (9.9) led the Nittany Lions to a season-best 49.275 on the apparatus. Each one of Penn State’s competed routines earned a 9.8-or-better. Johnston’s 9.925 earned her a fifth vault title of the season.
BARS – No. 25
Penn State finished strong with a season-best 49.325 on bars in the fourth rotation. Gabbie Gallentine was awarded a 9.9 while Dani Latronica and Cassi Barbanente tallied 9.875s to help the Nittany Lions achieve one of the best bars totals in school history.
BEAM – No. 25
The Nittany Lions began their afternoon on beam, securing its third consecutive 49-plus team score on the apparatus. Their 49.000 team total was produced by four career-high scores. Ashley Maul (9.875), Leary (9.85), Latronica (9.85), and Ellie Monahan (9.775) each achieved career-best scores.
FLOOR – No. 43
Penn State also produced four career-high scores on floor as it earned its first 49-plus team total on the apparatus since January. Alyssa Kramer (9.9), Allison Kaempfer (9.875), Leary (9.85), and Monahan (9.75) posted career highs.
