Penn State’s Women’s Fencers Complete Day Three of the NCAA Fencing Championship

 

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women’s fencing team completed their first day of the 2025 NCAA Fencing Championships. The Nittany Lions’ three competitors rolled through three rounds of action at Pennsylvania State University's Multi-Sport Facility.

Kateryna Chorniy and Allegra Cristofolletto competed in epee, Eunyu Kim competed in the sabre.

Cristofoletto sits in eighth place after three rounds in the epee, going 9/15. Chorniy sits in 11th with a 8/15 mark. Eunyu Kim, the lone competitor in sabre, won 4/15 and is in 21st place.

Combined with the men’s performance over days one and two of the event, the women’s team has Penn State in seventh place with one day of competition remaining.

All fencers from the women’s team will continue fencing tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m. with rounds four and five. Semifinals and championship bouts will begin at 1:30 p.m. In the Multi-sport Facility. These bouts will be aired on ESPN+.
