Penn State to host Red Flash on Wednesday, April 9 at 5 p.m. (ET) due to cold temperatures

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Due to cold temperatures forecasted in Central Pennsylvania in the evening hours on Tuesday, Penn State softball's non-conference midweek matchup against the Saint Francis Red Flash will be moved to Wednesday, April 9.

Penn State will now compete in a single game against the Red Flash at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field, with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. (ET). The contest was originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, April 8, at 6 p.m. (ET), but will be delayed due to forecasted wind chill values below the 28-degree threshold needed to play as required by the Big Ten Conference. The game will stream live to a worldwide audience of authenticated subscribers via B1G+ and the B1G+ app on connected devices.
