ALBANY, N.Y.- The 2025 Premiere Lacrosse League (PLL) is set to begin on Friday, May 30 with nine Nittany Lions on different rosters throughout the league. Opening weekend of the PLL will be played at Casey Stadium in Albany, N.Y.
Seniors Matt Traynor and Kevin Parnham were drafted in the 2025 PLL Draft. Traynor was selected sixth overall to the New York Atlas, the highest draft pick for Penn State since Mac O’Keefe in 2021. Parnham was picked in the fourth round by the Denver Outlaws.
Senior Kyle Aldridge was signed after the draft to the Whipsnakes for the 2025 season.
The 2025 PLL regular season runs from Friday, May 30 to Saturday, August 9 with four games every weekend aside from the All-Star games on July 4 and 5. The playoffs begin on Saturday, August 23 until the championship on Sunday, September 14.
