UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- USA Lacrosse released its 2025 All-Americans with representation from four Penn State men’s Lacrosse players. Senior attackman Matt Traynor highlights the list on the second team, junior defender Alex Ross lands on third team and senior defender Kevin Parnham and freshman midfielder Hunter Aquino are tabbed as honorable mentions.
Traynor adds All-American to his lengthy list of awards this season including Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, first team All-Big Ten, Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American and Tewaaraton Top 25 Nominee. The senior captain leads the conference in points per game and ranks 22nd in the country (4.08). Traynor guides the Penn State offense in points with 49 and in goals with 33.
Ross has been a crucial part of the Penn State defense throughout the 2025 campaign. His efforts earned him a second team All-Big Ten nod after securing a Defensive Player of the Week honor earlier in the season. Ross was also named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American. So far this season, he has compiled 24 ground balls, 21 caused turnovers and one goal.
Parnham is another key piece to the disruptive Penn State defense, leading the team in caused turnovers with 25 which ranks 14th nationally. The senior captain has also helped Penn State to a second ranked ground balls per game number in the conference, averaging 2.36 per game himself. Parnham also tallied his first career assists this season, totaling three on the year. The Tewksbury, N.J. native earned an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American nod earlier this spring.
Aquino rounds out the group as an honorable mention after a standout rookie campaign. His six Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors set a new Penn State record for most collected in a single season which led him to be named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Aquino has produced 15 goals and 18 assists to total 33 points this season thus far. He ranks second in the conference in assists per game (1.38) and eighth in points per game (2.54), consistently the only freshman in the Big Ten in the top 10 in those respective categories throughout the 2025 season.
