UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State cross country runners Florence Caron and Brian DiCola have been named Big Ten Runners to Watch ahead of the 2025 season that is slated to begin Sept. 5.
Caron is coming off a stellar 2024 season in which she became Penn State’s first cross country All-American since 2016. Caron helped guide the Nittany Lions to a 15th-place finish at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships while finishing 19th overall as an individual to earn All-America honors.
DiCola is coming off a 2024 season in which he turned in the highest finish at NCAA Cross Country Championships by a member of the Penn State men’s team since 2013. His appearance in the national meet was the first for a member of the men’s team since 2017.
Caron, DiCola and the Nittany Lions begin the 2025 cross country season on Sept. 5 with the annual Dolan Duals at Lock Haven.
