UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State men’s tennis team heads to Princeton, N.J., to compete in its second tournament of the fall season when the Nittany Lions travel to ITA Northeast Regionals from Oct. 16-21 on Princeton’s campus. Matches will be played in the Lenz Tennis Center and the Si Qin Family Indoor Tennis Center.
The team competed in its first fall tournament at the beginning of October. Eyal Shyovitz and Michael Wright went 2-2 in doubles. Reiya Hattori and David Lindsay also held a 2-2 record. In singles, Wright went 3-2, and Christos Glavas and Lindsay both achieved 2-2 records.
Kyle Chesman, Glavas, Hattori, Lindsay, Shyovitz and Wright will be competing for a spot at the NCAA Championships this weekend. All players will participate in singles and doubles competitions.
The doubles pairs include Chesman and Glavas, Hattori and Lindsay and Shyovitz and Wright. Lindsay competed in both singles and doubles at last year’s regional at the University of Pennsylvania.
