Fantin is coming off another stellar weekend for the Blue & White, notching six points in two games in the Nittany Lions’ sweep over Lindenwood. She had a goal and two assists in each game while also posting a +4 rating. The freshman also won 13 of her 22 faceoffs this weekend.
The Como, Italy native is currently tied for sixth nationally in points among freshmen skaters (12) and tied for first in goals (5). Fantin has now won two weekly conference awards this season after being named Atlantic Hockey’s Forward of the Week two weeks ago.
Fantin and the Nittany Lions are on the road this weekend, traveling to Moon Township, Pa. to face Robert Morris in a two-game series beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday.
