Evans Named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Penn State men’s soccer netminder Jonathan Evans garnered his second weekly conference recognition after wrapping up the regular season with a shutout against No. 10 Michigan. The honor marks Penn State’s second honor of the year.

The zero goals allowed by Evans marked the fourth clean sheet of his career. He made three saves in the contest. In the conference slate, Evans ranks second in the Big Ten in saves (42), and second in saves per game (4.2). His 49 saves in 2025 mark the most for a Nittany Lion goalkeeper since Kris Shakes had 64 in 2023.
