Penn State Welcomes Seven-Member Signing Class on 2025 National Signing Day

Nittany Lions sign five four-star prospects, trio of top-20 recruits to compile the No. 3 signing class in women’s college soccer

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women’s soccer head coach Erica Dambach announced the program’s 2025 National Signing Day class on Thursday, with the Nittany Lions set to welcome seven signees from some of the nation’s best high school and club programs. TopDrawerSoccer.com named the Nittany Lion signing class as the No. 3 group in the nation earlier this month.

The 2025 Nittany Lion signing class features five four-star prospects and a pair of three-star recruits according to TopDrawerSoccer.com, with three prospective Nittany Lions ranked inside the national top-20. PSU will welcome forwards Anna Babcock, Ellie Kocher and Olivia Robinson, midfielders Emma Johnson, Paige Pasinski and Layla Tomezak, as well as goalkeeper Lily Selvy. Penn State’s septet of signees hail from seven different states, including Arizona, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Washington, and the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. The Blue & White were one of just nine programs to sign a top-20 ranked national prospect, and one of just two programs to sign three-or-more. PSU’s 2025 signing class boasts the most top-20 prospects in the Big Ten Conference with three, as well as the second-most nationally behind North Carolina’s four. The Nittany Lions were also rated as the strongest signing class in the Big Ten Conference for the second year in a row, outpacing the rest of the B1G while ranking third nationally in a late-October release from TopDrawerSoccer.com.

“This 2025 signing class is one of the most talented and creative groups we’ve ever welcomed to Penn State,” Dambach said. “They embody the values that have defined our program throughout our time in Happy Valley; a relentless competitive spirit, a commitment to excellence on and off the field, as well as a deep appreciation for what it means to wear the Blue & White. This group will build on the rich history and tradition of Penn State women’s soccer, and we are excited to see how they elevate our program in the years ahead.”
