Tambroni announces 10 additions to his men's lacrosse roster, including five four-star prospects and three three-star prospects

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's lacrosse program and head coach Jeff Tambroni announced the team’s 2025 National Signing Day class on Thursday afternoon, with ten student-athletes inking national letters of intent to begin their collegiate careers in Happy Valley with the team next fall.

“Our staff is extremely excited to officially announce the Penn State men's lacrosse Class of 2031," said Tambroni. "We’re thrilled to welcome these 10 outstanding young men — and their families — to the Penn State lacrosse program. This group embodies the values and identity of our university and our program, both on and off the field, making them an ideal fit for what it means to be a Nittany Lion student-athlete. The Nittany Lions welcomed attackman AJ LoSauro, face-off Becker Lippert, midfielders Camden Hayden, George Laskowski, Luke Valerio and Ryan Wodazak, defenders Peyton Larsen, Kevin Piffath and Jack Weber, and goalkeeper Ryan Inzer following the start of the 2025 NCAA Early Signing Period on Wednesday.

Ranked as a four-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse, Hayden won back-to-back-to-back state championships in three seasons of playing for Bishop Guertin High School. In 2025, while playing for the NH Tomahawks, Hayden was named as a USA All-American and played for the Project 9 Developmental Team.

Ryan Inzer

GK | CENTREVILLE, Md. | ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE

Inzer, another four-star recruit as tabbed by Inside Lacrosse, played for Saint John’s College High School and was a 2023 WCAC Champion. He was named a first team all WCAC honoree in 2024 and garnered second-team WCAC recognition in 2025. Inzer also played for True National Black and was a Naptown Challenge champion in addition to being named to the New Balance All-American first team.

Peyton Larsen

Peyton Larsen

D | BURKE, Va. | ROBINSON SECONDARY

A four-star defenseman from the DC area, Larsen’s towering 6’3" presence helped Robinson High School win the 2024 VA State Championship. In 2025, he was named as a USA All-American and earned first team All-Met, first team All-State, and was named the District Defensive Player of the Year honors. He also played for Hilltop LAX from 2022-2025.

George Laskowski

George Laskowski

M | MALVERN, Pa. | MALVERN PREP

Playing for Malvern Prep, Laskowski won the 2024 National Prep Championship and 2025 Inter-AC Championship. He played club lacrosse for Team Ten, which was ranked No. 2 in the nation for two years, spanning from 2022-2024. Laskowski played with fellow Penn State commit Kevin Piffath at both Team Ten Lacrosse Club and Malvern Prep.

Becker Lippert

FO | OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA | AVON OLD FARMS

A four-star face-off man, Lippert hails from Canada where he played for Toronto Rock Stars from 2021-2024, a development program in partnership with the National Lacrosse League's Toronto Rock. He represented his country by playing for Team Canada NDTP U19. Lippert also competed for Everest Academy, where he was an HCCA and GHAC champion in 2021-22 and an MSLA Honorable Mention in 2023-24 and 2024-25.

AJ LoSauro

AJ LoSauro

A | RIDGEWOOD, N.J. | RIDGEWOOD

LoSauro is a three-star attacker from Ridgewood, New Jersey. He played for Towermen Lacrosse and was featured in the 2024 Maverick Showtime Lacrosse event. In the same year, he was named a second team New Balance All-American in 2024. For Ridgewood high school, LoSauro was named 2025 second team all-county and second team all-state in 2025, as well as being an all-state honorable mention in 2024. He holds the school's all-time scoring record by a sophomore. LoSauro was also a four-year starter on the varsity ice hockey team at Ridgewood.

D | FOLSOM, Pa. | MALVERN PREP

Piffath, who was tabbed as a four-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse, played club ball for Team Ten Lacrosse, which was ranked No. 2 in the nation for two years spanning from 2022-2024. Piffath attends Malvern Prep, where he won a 2024 National Prep Championship and the 2025 Inter-AC Championship. Piffath is teammates with fellow Penn State commit George Laskowski for Team Ten and Malvern Prep.

Luke Valerio

M | SPRINGFIELD, Pa. | SPRINGFIELD

Valerio is a three-time All-Central League honoree, winning a state championship in 2025 along with earning all-state honors in 2024 and 2025. He was named to the New Balance All-America Team Philadelphia three times and earned All-Tournament team honors in 2023. He was recognized by Inside Lacrosse on the organization's “15 Players to Watch” in 2024. IL tabbed Valerio a three-star recruit. In addition to lacrosse, Valerio also played basketball and football in high school.

Jack Weber

Jack Weber

D | NORTH BELLMORE, N.Y. | WELLINGTON C. MEPHAM

Weber is a 6'1" defenseman who hails from North Bellmore, New York. He played lacrosse at Wellington C. Mepham High School, where he was named an all-conference honoree in 2024 and all-county honorable mention in 2025. For club lacrosse, he played for Legacy East from 2023-2025.

Ryan Wodazak

M | EGG HARBOR, N.J. | ST. AUGUSTINE PREP

Wodazak, a three-star midfielder from New Jersey, has played for SouthShore Lacrosse for seven years and was named a Maverick Showtime All-Star in 2025. Wodazak plays for St. Augustine Prep, where he led the team in goals in 2025 and was given First Team Non-Public honors. He also earned recognition as a USA Lacrosse All-American in 2025.

About Penn State Men's Lacrosse

Penn State men's lacrosse has become a regular in the NCAA Final Four under the watch of Tambroni. He has guided the Blue & White to three championship weekends since 2019, including appearances in 2023 and 2025. In the Big Ten last season, no one had a higher scoring offense than PSU, which averaged 12.29 goals per game and 19.94 points per game. The defense was just as strong, with the team averaging the most caused turnovers (10.47) and groundballs per game (32.65) in the Big Ten.
