UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Peter and Ann Tombros Endowed Men’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Rhoades has announced the signing of Jamison ‘Jamo’ White, who signed to join the Nittany Lions during the November early signing period.

- Ranked as a four-star forward and the No. 3 player in the state of Missouri by ESPN.
- Playing senior season at East St. Louis Senior High School (Ill.) after three standout years at Chaminade High School in St. Louis, Mo. where he was a two-time team captain who led the Red Devils to back-to-back state finals appearances and three-straight district championships.
- Named Class 6 District Player of the Year following junior season at Chaminade in which he led Red Devils to state finals appearance and district championship while averaging 14.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.
- Two-time all-state selection and three-time all-conference pick.
- Owns high school career marks of 798 points, 540 rebounds, 138 assists, 72 steals and 84 blocks heading into senior season.
- Two-time Peach Jam champion while playing AAU for Bradley Beal Elite, leading his team to both the 16U and 17U EYBL Peach Jam championships. 17U Brad Beal Elite team was coached by Tony Irons, who coached former Nittany Lion Nick Kern Jr. in high school.
- Two-time USA Basketball camp invitee.
Personal: Son of Jahadi White and Angela Priebe…Father, Jahadi, had a nine-year career in the NBA and played collegiately at Georgetown…Has two brothers, Jai and Jahadi, and one sister, Chelsea…Has completed 100-plus hours of community service initiatives…Intends to major in telecommunications at Penn State.
