Men's Gymnastics Announces 2026 Campaign

The Nittany Lions look to repeat as Big Ten Champions after a regular season title in 2025

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s gymnastics has released the 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon, featuring four competitions at home. All home meets will take place at Rec Hall. 

The Nittany Lions start off the season against Army at home on January 11 at 4 p.m. The week after that, the Nittany Lions travel to West Point, New York to compete in the West Point Open from January 16 through January 17. Last year in the West Point Open, Penn State faced off against Army, Navy, Ohio State, Springfield College, and William & Mary, finishing second. 

After the West Point Open, Penn State travels to Sarasota, Florida to compete in the Sam Mikulak Invitational, which takes place on January 24. After the invitational, the Nittany Lions travel back to University Park where they face Illinois, a team who recorded a score of 316.293 in the NCAA Finals this past year, good for sixth place. The competition takes place on February 1 at 1 p.m. Penn State has their first true road competition the week after when they travel to Lincoln, Nebraska to face off against the Cornhuskers, who finished fourth in the NCAA Finals in 2025. The competition is set to take place on February 7 at 4 p.m.

After a week off, the Nittany Lions are due to compete in the Winter Cup in Louisville, Kentucky on February 21 at 7 p.m. Last year in the Winter Cup Finals, Penn State competed against Big Ten opponents Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, and Ohio State. After another week off, Penn State faces off in a home meet against Springfield College at 1 p.m. on March 1. 

On March 7 at 1 p.m., Penn State travels to Ann Arbor to compete against Michigan. Last year, Michigan was crowned national champion, winning the title with a score of 332.224 in the NCAA Finals held in their own backyard. After a week off, the Nittany Lions close the regular season with a competition against Ohio State at University Park. The competition is scheduled for March 22 at 1 p.m.

For postseason play, the Big Ten Championships will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 3 and April 4, with the NCAA Championships happening in Champaign, Illinois on April 17 and April 18.
