UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten Conference released its 2026 league football schedule on Tuesday. Penn State will play a seven-game home slate in 2025, which includes five conference foes.
Penn State hosts Marshall (Sept. 5) and Buffalo (Sept. 19), while visiting Temple (Sept. 12).
The Nittany Lions open Big Ten play on Sept. 26, hosting Wisconsin. Penn State will also host USC (Oct. 10), Purdue (Oct. 31), Minnesota (Nov. 14) and Rutgers (Nov. 21).
The Blue and White will travel to Northwestern (Oct. 3), Michigan (Oct. 17), Washington (Nov. 7) and Maryland (Nov. 28).

Away: Illinois, Indiana, Oregon, Purdue, Wisconsin
2028:
Home: Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA
Away: Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, USC
Penn State will open the Matt Campbell era on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Marshall. Campbell was announced as the 17th head coach in program history on Dec. 8.
