UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Penn State men’s tennis senior Michael Wright has been named a Big Ten Men’s Tennis Player to Watch, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
The Big Ten Players to Watch list includes one player from each Big Ten school to keep an eye on during the 2026 spring tennis season.
Wright transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2025-26 year after playing at UC Berkley. Wright went 4-3 in singles play and 2-3 in doubles with partner Eyal Shyovitz, during the 2025 fall season at Penn State.
Wright and the Nittany Lions kick off the 2026 spring season at home on Saturday, January 17, against Cleveland State at 11 a.m. and Fordham at 4 p.m.
