Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Third Day of Big Ten Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Penn State Women’s Swimming and Diving team finished off day three of competition at the Big Ten Championships at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. Two swimmers and one diver advanced to the finals.

Margaret Markvardt returned to finals competition for the second-straight day, advancing to the 100 Back B final. Markvardt placed 15th overall with a 53.18

Morgan Moore also advanced to the finals, earning herself a spot in the C Final of the 500 Free. Moore posted a 4:48.59, good for 20th overall.

Grace Brammer’s performance on the 3-meter dive propelled her into the finals. Brammer’s score earned her 14th overall with a score of 270.20

The Nittany Lions will return for the final day of competition tomorrow, with swimming preliminaries kicking off at 11:00 a.m. EST and diving beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST. Finals will start for both teams at 6:30 p.m. EST.
