Men's Swimming and Diving to Compete in Big Ten Championships

Nittany Lions set for four-day championships in Madison

MADISON, Wis. - The Penn State men’s swimming and diving teams head to Madison, Wis., to compete in the 2026 Big Ten Championships. The meet will run from Feb. 25 to Feb. 28 at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center.

 

The Nittany Lions closed out their regular season with two wins, against West Virginia and George Washington. 

 

Senior Mariano Lazzerini has dominated the breaststroke this season, taking first at the Ohio State Invitational back in November. Lazzerini claimed the 100 Breast title at the Big Ten Championship in 2024. 

 

The events for the Big Ten Championships will take place in the following order:

 

Day 1, Wednesday, Feb. 25 -

200 Medley Relay

800 Free Relay

 

Day 2, Thursday, Feb. 26 - 

100 Fly

400 IM

200 Free

100 Breast

1-Meter Diving

 

Day 3, Friday, Feb. 27 - 

100 Back

200 Breast

500 Free

50 Free

3-Meter Diving

 

Day 4, Saturday, Feb. 28 -

200 IM

100 Free

200 Fly

200 Back
