Mack Brady has been an important part of the Penn State soccer programs since the late 2000s when, at the tender age of five, he declared he wanted to someday be the Nittany Lions' goalkeeper. Tragically, Brady's dreams were cut short as he passed away from a blood infection on December 31, 2012, almost two weeks short of his ninth birthday.

The clinic was set up just weeks after his untimely passing, with the help of Penn State coaches as well as current players and alumni. It was meant to coincide with his birthday (January 16) in order to give other Penn State soccer fans his age the chance to enjoy the game he loved with the team he loved.

COACH DOW

Head men’s soccer coach Rob Dow said, “We are thrilled to host the Mack Brady Clinic this February. While this will be my first time participating in this long-standing tradition, we are incredibly excited to be part of such a meaningful event. Celebrating Mack’s legacy and recognizing the lasting impact of the Mack Brady Foundation on Penn State Soccer is something we are honored to experience and continue moving forward. We are deeply grateful to the Brady family for their continued support and look forward to beginning this next chapter of the clinic with them on February 14.”
