UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Head Coach Hannah Prince and Penn State Field Hockey have announced the program’s spring schedule on Friday afternoon. The five game schedule features three dates in University Park and two dates away. All home games are available to the public.
“The coaching staff and I are very excited about our spring schedule,” commented Prince on the schedule. “We will face several local opponents, including Bucknell and Lock Haven, along with teams coming from across the region. These spring games provide an opportunity to compete, challenge ourselves, and continue building our team culture while supporting our ongoing growth. They will also allow us to further develop our tactics as we prepare for the fall season. I am thrilled to be competing against Bucknell in less than a month.”
Penn State will kick off its spring slate first at the Multisport Facility by taking on Bucknell on March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. for a 5s exhibition. A month later, the Nittany Lions will host Kent State and Cornell on April 11th at the Field Hockey Complex. Penn State then takes the team’s first away trip to Bucknell on April 14th at 6 p.m. before heading to Drexel to take on the Dragons and Columbia on April 18th. The Blue & White will conclude the spring with an exhibition against Lock Haven on April 26th at 12 p.m.
