ATLANTA, Ga. - Penn State men's swimming's Mariano Lazzerini, Matthew Bittner, Tylor Kim and Cooper Morley are set to begin competing in the 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships from March 25-28 at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga. Lazzerini is set to compete in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, while he'll join Bittner, Kim and Morley will be competing in the 200 and 400 medley relays.
Competition is set to begin on Wednesday, March 25 with the 200 medley relay featuring all four qualified swimmers. Lazzerini is set to compete in the 100 breast on Thursday, while Friday will feature all four swimmers again in the 400 medley relay, and Lazzerini in the 200 breast.
At the Big Ten Championships, Lazzerini finished second overall in the 100 breast and finishing fifth in the 200 breast. Bittner set a school record in the 200 IM with a 1:43.17
At the Ohio State Invitational, the 400 medley team broke the school record with a 3:04.13, while their 200 medley relay performance of 1:23.05 qualified them for the NCAA Championships.
