Nittany Lions Wrap Up Split-Squad Weekend at Knights Invite

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State track & field capped its first split-squad weekend of the 2026 outdoor campaign Saturday at the Knights Invite.

In the men's 100-meter dash, Ajani Dwyer sprinted his way to a 9.96 in the men’s 100-meter dash, becoming the NCAA leader in that race for 2026.

Moving to the field events, Robert Allen recorded a second-place 6-11.50 (2.12 m) in the men’s long jump, good for a personal outdoor best.

The only other top-3 placement in the Knights Invite Saturday came from Alexandria North, whose 53.77 in the women’s 400-meter dash came in third. North came 0.03 seconds shy of joining the Top 10 fastest times in program history.

Lizzie Schreiber continued her productive weekend by placing fourth in the women’s triple jump, finishing at 40-9.75 (12.44m). Matthew Sarnowski also took fourth in his event, earning a personal-best 167-2.00 (50.95m) in the men’s discuss.
