Women's Volleyball to Play Historic Match at Wrigley Field on Sept. 6

The event is a doubleheader with Penn State vs. Kentucky and Nebraska vs. Missouri

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women’s volleyball will play a match at the iconic Wrigley Field when it takes on Kentucky on Sept. 6. The Wrigley Field event, which is a doubleheader that also includes Nebraska vs. Missouri, is part of the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Challenge.

All 18 Big Ten schools and all 16 SEC institutions will match up beginning Tuesday, September 1, culminating with a historic outdoor doubleheader at Wrigley Field on Sunday, September 6. The event features teams that have won two of the past five National Championships – Kentucky in 2021 and Penn State in 2024.

The matches will mark the first time volleyball has been played at Wrigley Field. Both outdoor matches will be broadcast live on FOX, with the first match scheduled for 7 p.m. ET followed by a 9 p.m. ET start time for the second match.
