The Nittany Lions earned their 32nd win of the season, setting a new single-season program record

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — No. 3 Penn State women’s ice hockey captured the program's fourth consecutive AHA Championship over No. 12 Mercyhurst in a 3-2 result on Saturday afternoon at Pegula Ice Arena.

The win was the team’s 32nd of the season, setting a single-season program record for a second year in a row.

Graduate student Mya Vaslet scored the first goal of the game in the first period. Sophomore right winger Nicole Hall netted the second goal of the game in the middle of the second period. Senior assistant captain Katelyn Roberts capped off the scoring for Penn State with a goal late in the second, which served as the game-winner.
