Monfils and Dorner paired for two ranked doubles wins on court one. Against Indiana, the tandem toppled Indiana’s No. 84 Alessandra Teodosescu and Hiiliani Williams, 6-4, and Purdue's No. 55 Ida Clement and Ece Gencer, 6-1, for their fifth and sixth ranked wins together.
On Tuesday, the duo was ranked No. 89 in the ITA doubles poll. Dorner and Monfils own a 6-3 mark against ranked opponents since the start of the fall campaign. In court one dual matches, the tandem is 8-3.
The junior picked up a court one singles triumph against Teodosescu, 6-3, 6-4. She now has six court one victories this spring with two of those in Big Ten play.
Penn State returns home for the final weekend of the regular season. The Nittany Lions will face No. 22 Washington on Friday at 4 p.m. and Oregon at 11 a.m. on Sunday for Senior Day presented by the Penn State Alumni Association.
