UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State men’s tennis team is traveling to Los Angeles, Calif., to take on No. 26 USC on Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, and No. 22 UCLA on Saturday, April 4, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
The Nittany Lions are coming off a 1-1 weekend at home. The Nittany Lions defeated No. 69 Northwestern 4-3 on Friday before falling to No. 14 Illinois on Sunday, 1-6. Freshman Kyle Chesman clinched the Northwestern match and earned Penn State its point against Illinois.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The No. 26 USC men’s tennis team is currently 13-5 for the season. The Trojans hold the Nittany Lions to a 2-0 all-time advantage and won last season’s meeting 4-0.
The No. 20 UCLA men’s tennis team is currently 12-4 for the season. The Bruins have a 1-0 all-time advantage against the Nittany Lions from last season’s meeting, where UCLA won 4-0.
