UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A historic event awaits Penn State track & field this week as it heads east to compete in the 130th Penn Relays.
The meet, a staple of the Nittany Lions’ outdoor season, is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field. Competition begins Thursday, April 23 and will conclude on Saturday, April 25.
Penn State competed in the 2025 Penn Relays and returned with plenty of trophies and records. Gabi Deglau returns to the women’s hammer as the reigning champion, while Meredith Baham (women’s pole vault) and Jenna Young (women’s high jump) are back for another showing after both took second place in their events last year.
On the track, the blue and white rewrote several records at last year’s Penn Relays. The women’s distance medley team claimed the fastest time in program history, while the men’s 4x400 and 4x800 teams earned the sixth-fastest times.
