UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Boh Ritchie received another piece of hardware in her freshman campaign with the blue and white. The mid-distance athlete was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this season and the first time during the outdoor campaign.
Ritchie ran the third leg in the women’s 4x800-meter Saturday at the Penn Relays. Her 2:02.41 gave the Nittany Lions the lead going into the final leg. The blue and white held on, taking the event with a program-record 8:18.43.
Ritchie and the Nittany Lions will wrap up their 2026 regular season when they compete at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. Friday and Saturday.
