UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Peter and Ann Tombros Endowed Head Coach Mike Rhoades has announced the signing of accomplished guard Thomas Allard ahead of the 2026-27 Penn State men’s basketball season. Allard, an experienced backcourt player with a winning pedigree, comes to Penn State as a graduate transfer for his final season of eligibility.

- Played 2025-26 season at Alabama-Huntsville, serving as a key player in the Chargers’ run to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16. Averaged 13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while starting 32 games for Alabama-Huntsville. Tallied 24 double-digit scoring games, including season-best 31-point effort on Nov. 15.
- Spent three collegiate seasons at Lincoln Memorial University, helping the Railsplitters to three-straight NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.
- Averaged 8.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 22 appearances during 2024-25 season, while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from 3-point range.
- Appeared in 19 games during 2023-24 season at Lincoln Memorial, averaging 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
- Utilized the 2022-23 season as a redshirt year at Lincoln Memorial.
